From Chabahil to Dubai: Your Overseas Beauty Career Roadmap
September 15, 2026

Certifications, trade tests, English salon etiquette, and realistic salary expectations — a step-by-step guide to working in Gulf salons.
Every year our placement desk sends graduates to Dubai, Qatar, and Malaysia. Here is the roadmap we walk each student through.
Step 1: Get the right certification
Gulf employers look for a comprehensive diploma covering hair, skin, and nails — the six-month overseas track covers all three plus trade-test preparation.
Step 2: Build a photo portfolio
Ten strong before-and-after photos outweigh any CV. Every student leaves our program with a professionally shot portfolio.
Step 3: Learn salon English
Client consultation phrases, service upselling, and hygiene vocabulary are taught in dedicated English sessions.
Step 4: Know the numbers
Entry-level spa and salon roles in Dubai typically pay USD 1,200–1,600/month, often with accommodation and flights covered. Always verify the employer's license before signing.
